Summary: The African savannah. Nowhere else will you find a finer example of nature just being itself and seeing how a bunch of species cope with an area where the trees aren't there for miles, and there's plenty of open space for the hunt. Then humans get involved. More times than not, those people might wish they hadn't...

History: One day while on an off-road safari (never a good idea, by the way), some folks from an American family ends up stranded when their driver gets killed by a pack of two lionesses and a male. While the rest of the family goes looking for their missing members, the trapped ones rely on just about everything to stay alive, even as everyone who tries to help them dies in the effort most of the time.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The lionesses are shot, but the male lion gets a much more extreme demise. In trying to kill one of the family members, it instead gets blown up when said family member sets fire to a fuse under the jeep. The family as a whole is very much alive by the end, though shaken.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-These are lions. No CGI, some practical work, but more times than not, a true pride of them. There's no dissing on big cats, especially not ones as vicious as lions. So, prepare for a mauling if you see one coming your way, regardless of gender.

Trivia: -In a typical pride of lions, it is the lionesses that do all of the hunting, with the sole male serving to mate with as many females as possible to keep the pride strong.

-While this film is said to be based on true events, those events were most likely the ones involving the infamous Tsavo Man-Eaters that terrorized those railroad workers back in the day. Anyone who read a particular bio from last decade will know what we're talking about.
